Growth hormone is a protein of approx. 22 kDa that exists in various isoforms. It regulates various growth processes in the human body via the IGF-IGFBP system.
Clinical pathology of growth hormone (WH) is characterized by deficiency especially in the Childhood and a surplus in the Adulthood determined.
The growth hormone ELISA allows the quantification of growth hormone in serum, urine and cell culture supernatants. The standard material used is the 2nd International Standard (NIBSC 98/574) used.
We offer this ELISA in two sensitivity levels. The particularly sensitive E022 is ideal for the determination of growth hormone in Filter paper samples, cell culture supernatants or urine samples.
