The IGFBP-2 ELISA (insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2) reliably determines the concentration of human IGFBP-2 in serum, cell culture supernatants, breast milk, cerebrospinal fluid. Elevated IGFBP-2 concentrations represent a possible marker for tumor diseases such as liver carcinomas, prostate cancer and brain tumors.
